Pop’s Seafood Shack & Grill is easy to find. You can get there by boat, car, or even the Long Island Railroad. It’s an easy ride from other towns in Nassau like Mineola, Lynbrook, or Levittown.
If you’re traveling by car, the restaurant is located directly off Austin Boulevard, which is often referred to as Long Beach Road. It’s at the northwest foot of the Long Beach bridge in Island Park. If a boat is your preferred method of transportation, the restaurant is just four nautical miles west of Jones Inlet and three from East of Rockaway Inlet.

The service is exceptional, and even waiting for a table – a usually miserable experience – is pleasant at Pop’s. While you do usually need to wait, the waits are worth it, as there are plenty of spots to grab a drink while you do so.
